Meet Cameron. I had a blast taking portrait shots like this during during my recent canyoneering trip. The only problem is that it’s hard to bring a whole lot of gear with me into these places. I was already well over 40 lbs of gear during this hike. I took two lenses, but I really didn’t want to change them too often because there was so much sand and dirt that I didn’t want in my camera. This shot is a 3 bracket handheld exposure taken with a wide angle lens. I think I was only about 2 feet away when I took this shot.
